This Privacy Policy explains how Brzo i Lokalno collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes personal data in connection with the Brzo i Lokalno mobile application.

1. Who we are

Brzo i Lokalno is a local marketplace application that helps connect users, craftsmen, and creators through profiles, public works, job posts, offers, ratings, and communication features.

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect and process the following categories of data:

• Account data: email address, user ID, login-related information, and role selection (including Google Sign-In when used).
• Profile data: display name, city, role, category, occupation, status, description, profile details, and other information you choose to add.
• User-generated content: works, photos, descriptions, job posts, offers, applications, ratings, and related content you create in the app.
• Communication data: messages and related chat metadata when communication features are used.
• Moderation and safety data: reports, blocks, abuse-prevention data, and records related to account safety and community protection.
• Usage and technical data: technical, device, analytics, performance, or diagnostic information processed through services used to operate, secure, and improve the app.
• Weather query data: when weather planning features are used, the selected city name is sent to WeatherAPI to fetch forecast data for display in-app.

3. How we use data

• To create and maintain user accounts.
• To provide profiles, public works, jobs, offers, applications, ratings, and messaging features.
• To personalize and display content based on role, profile, and city.
• To protect the app, detect abuse, investigate reports, and moderate harmful behavior.
• To maintain app functionality, reliability, analytics, security, and service improvement.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.

4. When data may be visible to others

Certain information may be visible to other users when you choose to publish it or use app features that display content publicly or to other users. This may include profile details, public works, ratings, job posts, offers, applications, and messages where applicable.

5. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal data to advertisers. We may use third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the app, including Firebase / Google services (authentication, database, storage, push notifications, security features) and WeatherAPI (forecast data used for weather planning views).

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to protect users, the app, or the public.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain account functionality, support legitimate business and safety purposes, and comply with legal obligations.

When a user requests account deletion, we attempt to delete or remove associated account data such as profile data, works, uploaded images, jobs, offers, applications, block records, and ordinary messages connected to the account.

In some cases, limited information may be retained or transformed for legitimate reasons such as security, fraud prevention, abuse handling, legal compliance, or record integrity. For example, some rating-related records may be anonymized instead of remaining linked to the deleted user account.

7. Account deletion

Users can request deletion of their app account and associated data through the in-app path and through the public deletion page: Delete Account.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

The app is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law without appropriate supervision or legal basis. Do not use the app if you are not permitted to do so under applicable law.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights related to accessing, correcting, deleting, or requesting information about your personal data. You may contact us using the email address listed below.

11. In-app summary and external policy pages

The app contains a short privacy summary screen for quick understanding. Full legal documents are published on external GitHub Pages links available inside the app settings (Privacy Policy, Terms, Delete Account).

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
